The much anticipated new hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opened in 2022 at the Walt Disney World Resort. Situated just outside of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the most unique hotel experience you will ever encounter. This is not a typical hotel. It is a 2-night immersive experience that will transport you right into your own Star Wars story.
So what can you expect during this 2-night adventure? Check out everything you will encounter during your voyage onboard the Galactic Starcruiser!
Out of this world setting
The hotel “terminal” is located adjacent to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Upon entering the terminal, you will be invited to board an (imaginary) launch pod which will transport you to the glamorous Halcyon Starcruiser. Here is where you’ll begin your journey set in a galaxy far, far away.
The views from the Halcyon Starcruiser will be out of this world with projections of stars and planets at every window. As you wander around the starship, you’ll encounter an eclectic collection of characters who will guide you on your Star Wars mission. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the ship, visit the bridge to operate the controls and train to become a master of the lightsaber.
Outer space accommodations
Onboard the Halcyon Starcruiser, every family will be assigned a comfortable cabin or suite which all feature amazing views of passing ships, planets, stars and other breathtaking galactic sights. Each cabin can sleep up to 5 guests while suites can accommodate up to 4 or 8 guests.

Creation of your own Star Wars story
Remember reading those “choose your own adventure” books as a child? Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser allows you to do just that… choose the Star Wars story that YOU want to experience!
During your adventure, you can choose to follow the rules of the First Order or plot against them by joining the Resistance. Or maybe you want to strike a bargain with a gang of smugglers? Not interested in participating? You can also just sit back with a galactic cocktail and watch all the action unfold in front of you.
Unique dining experiences
During your adventure, snacks and light refreshments will be included onboard (alcohol and specialty drinks excluded). Crown of Corellia, the starship’s main dining room serves passengers breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the evening, guests can experience this unique dining venue complete with a multi-course menu, live musical entertainment, storytelling and a few surprises.
In the Crown of Corellia, guests can also reserve a spot at the Captain’s Table for an additional fee. This table will be in a prime location in the middle of the dining room where guests can converse with interesting characters, creatures and droids.
Galactic Starcruiser also features an adult-centered lounge with interactive experiences and tasty, out-of-this-world cocktails.
Daily activities
Opportunities to participate in daily celestial activities include Sabaac (card playing) lessons, droid racing competition, lightsaber training, model ship building and so much more! Activities will be available for guests of all ages but please note that young Padawans must be at least 7 years old to participate in the lightsaber training.
Admission to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Your voyage onboard Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser includes a one-day stop at Batuu, an outer rim planet (a.k.a. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge) where you’ll have an opportunity to pilot the Millennium Falcon and escape a First Order capture on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Plus, lunch at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is also included during your planet excursion. If you want a break from your Star Wars themed experience, you may also venture into other lands located throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
